Meet the Koko Resorts Management Team


Steven D. Larson, MBA

Co-founder of Koko Resorts.

Steve is primarily responsible for corporate operations including all real estate activities and information technology.

Steve is a licensed real estate Broker in the State of Hawaii.  He co-founded Altius Realty and has extensive real estate expertise and experience.

Steve also has extensive experience as a residential mortgage lender and co-founded Lone Peak Financial.

Prior to Altius Realty, Steven held the position of Database Programmer at NTT/Verio Corporation. He then joined Fonix Corporation as a Senior Programmer.

Steve holds an B.S. in Computer Science and an Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Brigham Young University.

He also completed extensive graduate level coursework in Computer Science at Brigham Young University.

Matthew C. Larson, CPA

Co-founder of Koko Resorts.

Matt is responsible for the strategic direction of the company.

He is a member of the National Association of Realtors and has extensive experience in real estate management, investments, and sales.

Matt also co-founded and operated Altius Realty and was instrumental in guiding the exponential growth of the company from its beginnings.

Prior to Altius Realty, Mr. Larson held the position of Auditor at Grant Thornton, LLP. He then joined American Bank of Commerce as the Operations and Compliance Officer.

Matt is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) currently licensed in the State of Utah and holds a B.S. in Accounting and a Masters of Accountancy with High Distinction from Southern Utah University.


Director of Guest Relations

Elisabeth Larson, MBA

Elisabeth is the Director of Guest Relations and Treasurer of Koko Resorts,

She is responsible for the guest experience at Koko Resorts.

Lis brings extensive financial management experience as the former Senior Investment Analyst for Beneficial Financial Group.

Lis assisted in the management of a two billion dollar investment portfolio where she researched and purchased assets and held direct investment responsibility for over $200 million.

Lis holds a B.S. in Mathematics and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Brigham Young University.

Chris Vallianos

“Big” Chris Vallianos is our General Manager.

Big Chris brings a passion for focus, process engineering and organization from a background of Manufacturing and Hospitality industries, while supporting and developing the growth of Koko Resorts, our team members and our clients.

Big Chris leverages these skills to deploy and support the directions of the Chief Officers while making the Koko Environment productive and fun.

Chris is a licensed REALTOR and avid Scuba enthusiast who spends as much free time as possible “under da sea” 


Owner Manager

David St.Julien

David handles all of our owner relations.  

He works to bring more owners into our property management program.

David is also our marketing and development manager, and is heavily involved in our growth opportunities.  He also facilitates our long-term rental branch called Koko Property Management.

David grew up in Utah, and graduated with a B.F.A. in Theater.  He’s spent the majority of his professional career as a project manager for IT companies, but is very much enjoying the transition into property management and working in Hawaii.

David also speaks Japanese.


Japanese Owner relations

Kazuko Franklin

Kazuko Franklin joined the Koko Resorts team in 2013 to work with our Japanese speaking owners.  She previously worked as a translator for the United Nations as well as Brother Corp.

Just prior to working for Koko Resorts, Kazuko worked for another local property management company where she worked with owners to properly manage their assets.

Moritaka Adachi

Moritaka Adachi works with our Japanese speaking owners to make sure that their needs are fully being met.

Mori has over 15 years of property management experience and is an essential part of the Koko Resorts team.


operations manager

Jordan T. Davis

Jordan (JT) is our Operations Manager. He is in charge of all of our day-to-day operations which includes scheduling our housekeepers, running our maintenance, making sure we have the proper inventory, and occasionally interacting directly with our guests and owners.

JT originally started working at Koko Resorts as an Executive Housekeeper in September of 2017.

JT has 5+ years of experience working in various fields of contracting, manufacturing, and operations; with a specialty in carpentry. He also helps in remodeling and/or supervising remodels and construction in our condo units.
